This study investigates the app Voscreen, a video-based technology, to see how well it can help students of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) improve their vocabulary and listening abilities. The study emphasizes the value of technology in learning a new language and the potential of Voscreen to enhance student learning results. To enable successful implementation, the study underlines the necessity for sufficient teacher training and knowledge on how to use technology in language teaching. Voscreen can help EFL teachers include vocabulary and listening skills into their lesson plans and engage students through gamification besides positively affecting the learners’ motivation.
