Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The similarity report of the submission is not higher than 19%.
  • The submission is prepared by using the Manuscript Preparation Template.

Author Guidelines

Please use the Manuscript Submission Template before submitting your study.

Each of the submitted works is to be subjected to a blind peer review process conducted by two referees who are specialists in the field. Within the period of four weeks after submission, authors will receive acceptance notification, rejection notification or information on the necessary changes that need to be applied to their contribution before publication.

The review process usually takes no longer than 4 weeks, and concentrates on the following:

  • The structure of the study
  • The content of the study
  • The language of the study

The submitted works are evaluated on a scale of 1 to 10, and an average of 7 would be usually regarded as satisfactory.

LET uses the Turnitin and iThenticate plagiarism-prevention services.

Each paper must contain an abstract of 100-250 words, and up to 5 keywords.

Please also check the published papers in the Archives while preparing your manuscript.

The manuscripts must conform to the specifications of Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (sixth edition). Basic Information about the style can be found at:
